The Bakery at Notre Dame supports York County Shelter Programs and is open every day.

York County Shelter Programs, a homeless shelter in Alfred, Maine, offers emergency and transitional housing, vocational training, case management, a food pantry, meals kitchens, medical and legal assistance, and mental health and substance abuse treatment. In addition, YCSP operates the Bakery at Notre Dame, which is currently closed for the season, a recycling program, two shared-use community kitchens, and a bakery and cafe at Shaker Hill Kitchens in Saco.
